Top 8 Arts… An Artists Collective
Top8Arts.com
Natalie Miccile is a compassionate pharmacist and the founder of Top 8 Arts and Foundation, a unique Hip Hop artists collective dedicated to bringing joy, healing, and inspiration through the power of Hip Hop music, dance, art, and culture. With a deep belief in the therapeutic potential of Hip Hop art forms, and her own expertise in a healthcare field as well as being a competitive Hip Hop dancer, Natalie created the nonprofit and brought Just Peachy, LLC on to assist her in pivoting to the for-profit arm, in order to support it. This was a necessary shift, to protect the foundation at a time in the US when financial output for creative expression has been severely hindered by the policies of the US government.
By bringing Team USA Olympic breakers to private and public settings such as pediatric hospitals, universities, festivals, and communities in need, as well as elevating “Top 8” competitive dancers across the country to rise to their highest potential, Top 8 provides and encourages healing and community building through performance, interaction, and fun. Top 8’s mission is simple: to foster a sense of empowerment and joy, reminding all people that despite their circumstances, they can always find strength, creativity, and hope. Top 8’s mission is also to legitimize the sport and art of breaking (especially by compensating its artists) — and to legitimize the elements of Hop Hop as aspects of a culture born in the United States. I am proud to be the director of business development and the chief operations officer for Top 8 Arts.

Dr. Nate Rickles and Just Peachy, LLC has been collaborating since 2010, when he was a faculty member at Northeastern University and began studying grant writing with Peaches at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. Since that time, we have been funded on a number of studies involving medication adherence, health disparities, opioid misuse prevention, and more.
Our latest collaboration, the Adopt-A-Health-District program, funded by SAMHSA, takes undergraduate and graduate student health professions interns and places them in health districts across the State of Connecticut to support the design and implementation of opioid misuse prevention programming. I am proud to be the UConn faculty member of record for this expanding program, designing the course content and managing all operations for the program across the State of Connecticut’.

Paulette Paul
President, OSDPC
Paulette Paul, a native of Haiti, has been the president of Organization of Support to the Development of the Plateau Central, Inc. (OSDPC) for 20 years.
OSDPC is a nonprofit organization located in Randolph, MA. Their primary mission is to inspire and empower through health and education. Their vision is to develop and sustain a region for future generations.
Just Peachy, LLC began working with OSDPC in spring 2019 and traveled to Haiti with them that summer to teach ethics in journalism to a group of young print and broadcast journalists.
Then Covid happened and the organization has been unable to travel home as they did for years. Struggling, they nevertheless still succeed in sending funds and goods to the region of the country they support, Hinche.
Haiti gets the short end of the stick in so many ways.
